Leah Russell
Leah Russell is the owner, senior stylist, and a make-up artist here at Blue Sparrow Salon and Spa. She fulfilled her dream of opening her very own salon in April of 2017, where less than a year later she received the title of "Best Salon & Spa" in Tangipahoa Parish!
Passionate about meeting her clients' needs, Leah strives to provide her guests with a very relaxed salon experience throughout their visit. Not only does Leah work behind the chair in the salon, but she also travels as a Joico educator teaching the latest trends and benefits of Joico color and products. She attends several classes a year to continue educating herself about the amazing benefits of these products. Her love for her staff and clients is what keeps her going and keeps her passionate about her career.
Outside of the salon, Leah enjoys spending time with her 7 year old daughter Adaleigh, her husband Aaron, and her friends and family. She looks forward to having new clients in her chair! From subtle to drastic changes or highlights to extensions, she's got you covered!
Casey Fernandez is the manager at Blue Sparrow Salon and Spa as well as a make-up artist and senior stylist where she specializes in customized coloring & make-up. She was born and raised in Hammond, LA. Casey developed a passion for make-up and hair at a very young age. Casey attended Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology and has 6 years of experience. She has always had a strong desire to learn and keep up with the latest trends. During her time away from working behind the chair Casey enjoys spending time with her 11 year old daughter Brooklyn. She is looking forward to a long and successful career at Blue Sparrow Salon and Spa.
